Job description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to oversee the entire employee life cycle, manage personnel data integrity through HRIS systems, process payroll, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of HR management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This direct hire role is in Morris, IL and the anticipated salary is between $80,000-$90,000 per year.Responsibilities:
Track and document compliance with mandatory training, work assessments, certifications, and continuing education
Assist with full-cycle recruiting, including creating job posts, conducting background checks and employment verifications, and setting up interviews
Process payroll in Paylocity, including payroll adjustments, deduction changes, earnings updates, and manual payroll corrections
Facilitate new hire orientation and employee recognition program
Complete pre-employment, onboarding process, and benefit enrollment
Respond to HR and employment-related inquiries from applicants and employees
Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity in HR systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required
1+ year of HR management experience preferred
Ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems like ADP or Workday
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion
